NVIDIA Launches RTX 5090 at CES 2025 with ₹1.70 Lakh Pricing

Chip-making giant NVIDIA today (January 7) unveiled its new RTX Blackwell graphics card series at CES 2025.

The flagship GPU of this series, the RTX 5090, boasts impressive specifications, including 92 billion transistors, 4,000 AT TOPS, 380 ray-tracing TFLOPS, and 1.8 TB/s bandwidth.

It introduces groundbreaking technologies in AI-powered rendering, neural shading, and graphics, promising a significant leap forward for gamers and creatives alike.

The company claims the RTX 5090 is twice as fast as the RTX 4090 and is priced at $2,000 (approximately ₹1.70 lakh).

NVIDIA also introduced other GPUs, including the RTX 8050, RTX 5070 Ti, and RTX 5070, priced at $999 (approximately ₹85,000), $749 (approximately ₹64,000), and $549 (approximately ₹47,000), respectively.

RTX 5070-powered laptops, launching in March, will offer a more affordable alternative to the RTX 5090.

NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang hailed the RTX Blackwell as a revolutionary leap in graphics technology. The company also assured solutions to supply chain challenges for better product availability.

Through this series, NVIDIA aims to deliver unprecedented performance to developers, gamers, and creatives. Laptops equipped with Blackwell GPUs will be available from brands like Acer, ASUS, Dell, and Lenovo, priced under $3,000 (approximately ₹2.57 lakh).
